SALONIA J. BROWN, Chief Operating Officer & Executive Vice President

Sal handles day-to-day operational responsibility including setting the strategic vision at Med-Metrix. He also currently serves as a Board of Trustees member for Collegium Charter School in Pennsylvania. Sal has served in multiple Finance and Healthcare Senior Leadership capacities and organizations including For-Profit, Not-for-Profit, Acute, Sub-Acute and Pediatric hospitals in addition to also working on the vendor/partner side. Prior to joining Med-Metrix Sal was the Senior Vice President of Revenue Cycle Operations for Prospect Medical Holdings, Inc. In this role he oversaw total RCM operations of 18 Acute Health Hospitals across the U.S. Prior to PMH he served as the Corporate Director of Revenue Integrity for the Acute Care Division of Universal Health Services, a Fortune 500 company with more than 400 hospitals & Behavioral Health facilities across the U.S., Puerto Rico and United Kingdom. Prior to UHS Sal served as Managing Director & Vice President at R1, RCM formerly Accretive Health. At R1, RCM Sal led Revenue Cycle Operations for several hospitals in the Northeast winning the prestigious CEO & President’s Award based on outstanding performance results for his territory. Early in his career Sal got his introduction to Healthcare which quickly spawned into his passion from The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia as an Executive Fellow. From there he went on to several progressive positions within Revenue Cycle Management at CHOP. Sal earned his Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Organizational Psychology and Business Management from Penn State University in State College and his MBA in Business Administration from Keller University.
